From the Wick River which runs right through the farm, with its abundance of smaller wild fish plus a few bigger ones and the chance of a salmon, to famous Loch Watten less than 3 miles away with its hard-fighting and superbly conditioned fish up to 3lbs+, and the many other local lochs (including Heilen where a 10lb trout was landed in 2007) and hill lochs, there is never any shortage of fishing here. The dry fly can produce spectacular results here under the right conditions. With so many venues to choose from, you can always find fishing to suit your taste within easy reach on good and traffic-free roads. And not a stockie in sight!
